UnionBank Philippines Eon Cyber Account

by Raphael Nikolai on October 4, 2008

Last week I got my UnionBank EON Cyber Account, as I am preparing my Paypal Account for my future online business transactions. I must say that I have no choice but to dip in to paypal’s pond when it comes to online business transactions, as they are without doubt the leader of this industry. I then researched online for the best Philippine bank account that I could use to verify my paypal account and found a lot of people satisfied and have gratefully enjoyed UnionBank Philippines’ fast and Easy Paypal verification procedure. That is why i came into conclusion basing from other people’s testimonials and good experience, that I should choose UnionBank Philippines to validate my paypal account… That’s exactly what I did! Unfortunately, there was a tiny bit of a problem…

Enrolling was easy though, but the problem was a miscommitted date. They said I had two wait for two days until me CyberAccount will activated. I did that, but I got impatient after 4 days without any progress or any communication with UnionBank. I then sent an Email to customer.service@unionbankph.com and expressed my concern, however I did not get any response.. A day after that, I rechecked on my enrollment status and with relief I am now enrolled! Thank you so much!

My only concern is that UnionBank’s Customer service seems to be inefficient and really needs a lot of improvement. I really think this is really bad for the company. A lot of clients really rely on prompt customer service and I really find it frustrating when you feel helpless without someone to help you…

I am currently in the process of activating my paypal account, watch out for my next post about it, subscribe now!

I applied for my brother’s UB EON Cyberaccount a year ago and asked him to go to the bank himself to get his pin and all, but when he went there, they asked for his TIN no. despite the fact that he’s only a student. I was pissed off, sometimes they don’t know what they’re doing.

Hello,

I’m new to doing transactions over the internet. Could you help me where to start in order for me to be able to purchase goods and services online. I just recently graduated from college and I think credit card would not be an alternative for me.

Should I open a bank account first and will paypal allow me to transfer funds from my bank account here in the Philippines??

Hope you could help me out here..

tnx

talking about paypal, it is the fastest and easiest way to receive/send funds online.

If you are in the philippines all you need is UnionBank’s EON debit card. It cost 350php annually. After you acquire the card register it online, wait 2-3 day for your online banking to be activated. Once you are able to access billing/transactions online it is now time to apply for your paypal account. On your paypal account add a visa card which is your union bank EON card, Paypal will then charge 2 dollars on your card with a 4 digit code on the billing statement, you will then need to access your online transaction the retrieve that 4 digit code which you wil then need to activate and verify your paypal account. If you have done it correctly you can now send and receive fund online without limits with you paypal account.
