Paypal is the no.1 solution for your e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. But despite of its Leadership and influence in the online business, Paypal has angered a few internet publishers and sellers due to the fact that Paypal hides certain details regarding the use of their service. One of the these Hidden Details concerns “Paypal Account Verification.” Becoming a “Paypal -Verified Member” is a necessity as it lifts up all limitations and therefore being able to use the service with ease. Below are lists of Paypal hidden details that you need to know before activating your account.
- Two Digit Expuse Number – The first Paypal verification problem that you may encounter concens the Expuse Number. What is an Expuse Number? It is a Four (4) digit number that you will receive on your billing statement after adding a creditcard/debitcard on your paypal account. You will then be providing adsense this code to verify your identification. It’s like a verification link on your email just after registering on a site but on a physical sense. See below for exact example on what to expect in your billing statement.
XXXX-PAYPAL–*EXPUSE,7865943467
XXXX is your Expuse number. Hmm… What if you only received XX a two digit expuse number? The solution is just add “00″ before the expuse number (all Zeros not letter O, ok?). Same goes for three digits XXX.
If you dont know the solution to this issue you probably have your DebitCard/CreditCard disabled. Why? See next.
- Wrong Expuse Number Input Limit – Unsurprisingly, this feature is added for security purposes. You are only allowed to have Three (3) wrong inputs. You should take this into account so as not to get your CreditCard or DebitCard disabled.
- Charge of $1.95 – An amount of $1.95 is charge into your debitcard/creditcard. This is not a membership fee this is just used by Paypal inorder to verify your ownership and identity for your added CreditCard/DebitCard. Once You are a verified member this amount will be added back to your Paypal Account Balance.
- Post PayPal Verification Issues – I know this is really frustrating but Paypal verification problems does not end on the part when paypal says your already a verified Paypal user! Some users claim that online costumers still see them as unverified even days or weeks after being verified. Discussions regarding this issue at digitalpoint.
