Original Images Only - Even monkeys can do it

Images inside your post are important. They make your post more attractive. In some cases, it may actually be enough convey your initial message to your readers with style (this post’s image for example)… However,  images are usually licensed. You can’t just pick any image in “Google Images” or Flicker and use it in your blog, you need to know how the image is licensed and should provide the proper action by paying royalty or by linking back to its author. Whether it is under copyright to its respective owner or under “creative commons,” you are prohibited from using it without attribution to its authors. If you use it without giving credit to its author, then you are taking ownership of that image as the author, which, clearly, is not a good practice if you are establishing authority in your blog.

Creating your own image:

You need good software to create good images – Do not use paint, it’s so ancient and results are poor quality. Top photo/logo softwares, like Photoshop are commercially marketed plus you need proper knowledge and skill to be able to use them. Here is a list of softwares that you can use.

  • Photoshop – Photoshop is the leading image creation software. Note that you need proper training to be able to use this tool. Luckily, there is an online replica of Photoshop that you can use for free here.
  • Gimp – This software is a Photoshop alternative. It is free for everyone to use. Note that you need proper training to be able to use this tool.
  • Paint.net – For those who does not have technical knowledge and is more comfortable with paint then this software is for you, this is a paint alternative which will definitely give you better results.

What Software do I use?

I am really not that creative to create high quality photo’s neither am I trained to use Photoshop, however,  I am lucky to have The Logo Creator. It is cheap and it allows me to easily create copyrighted images without any technical knowledge in less than 5 minutes! It’s saves a lot of time. Plus, you get full copyright on all images that you create with The logo Creator, you can even sell them… If you are planing to invest on something easy and high quality, then this is what I recommend to you. It has worked for me and it is worth every cent,  all my images are created with The Logo Creator, including that monkey image above (hehehe).. Check it out on their website..
